Maintenance of ejector

The maintenance cycle of the Venturi ejector is consistent with the maintenance cycle of the water pump. Each time the water pump is repaired, the ejector must be inspected and repaired;

Check whether the inlet of the ejector is blocked and whether there are sediments and corrosion on the pipe wall. Otherwise, the ability of the ejector to flow will be affected. You can use a brush to clean it with clean water or acid to ensure that the performance of the ejector remains unchanged and the service life is increased.

Troubleshooting the ejector

If the ejector is damaged (such as cracks caused by excessive pulling force, torque, etc.), the ejector needs to be replaced;

The ejector itself cannot produce a pressure difference. It works because the inflowing power source produces a pressure loss through the ejector and the pipeline to form a certain pressure difference. If the ejector cannot work normally, the installation position of the ejector can be appropriately changed to meet the pressure difference requirements for the normal operation of the ejector. It is generally recommended to install a pressure gauge at the inlet and outlet of the ejector to measure the pressure difference.

The inlet pressure of the ejector is low and the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the ejector is not enough. Increase the water pump lift or add a pressure pump;

Causes and Countermeasures of Insufficient Power Water Volume

Reason: The actual water pump used does not match the design, an old water pump is used, or the water pump is damaged. Countermeasures: Repair or replace the water pump;

Reason: The inlet and outlet connecting pipe of the ejector is too small. Countermeasures: Change to the pipe that is consistent with the inlet and outlet of the equipped ejector;

Reason: There is a blockage in the ejector connecting pipe. Countermeasures: clear the blockage;

Reason: The ejector model selection is too large. Countermeasures: Change to an ejector with a smaller power water volume;

The suction pipe of the ejector is dirty/or blocked. Blow it clean and remove the blockage;

Long-term operation of the ejector in the water body will produce precipitated dirt, which will lead to changes in the internal dimensions of the ejector and affect the suction capacity of the ejector. If dirt is produced, the ejector is usually soaked in 30% hydrochloric acid for 30 minutes, cleaned, and then rinsed with clean water.
